A chairmanship aspirant in Abaji Area Council on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa Ashafa, has boasted that the party has structures that will win the chairmanship election in 2019.

Ashafa, while addressing the party’s ward executives and his supporters at Nuku-Sabongari ward on Saturday,   noted that his records and achievements in public service, as well as the support he has continued to garner across the council were advantages he could take to unseat the incumbent chairman.

He commended PDP supporters for their good conduct during the just concluded Senate and House of Representatives primaries. He called on members of the APC to emulate the opposition party’s orderly conduct.

The chairmanship aspirant further called on members of the party to rally round their candidates who emerged during the primary election  with a view to giving the (APC) a good fight in the 2019 general elections.

Ashafa added that PDP in the FCT would present credible candidates that would meet the yearnings and aspirations of the common man.
