Ahmed, who is the coordinator of Scholars for Good Governance, in a statement issued in Abuja yesterday, said the former minister’s unrivalled patriotism, crave for national and urban development, vast experience, commitment for excellence and respect for the rule of law are some sterling qualities that endeared El-Rufai to them.
He called on academics and students in other institutions of higher learning in the state to join the struggle to support the former minister in his moves to rewrite the history of Kaduna State developmentally.
He also observed that apart from Lagos, Kaduna is the only state in the country that is grossly populated today with people from different parts of the country in search for jobs and decent living and which has consequently affected the original plan and development of the state,” the don said.
