Cameroon’s right back, Collins Fai has said the Indomitable Lions will do everything within their power to get to the tournament’s finals.

Speaking at the mixed zone at the Stade de Japoma, Doula after his team defeated Gambia, Fai who leads the assist chart with three assists so far said the team success comes first.

“I am very happy I could do something to help the team. It is not really important how many assists I have given, it is the spirit of the team and moving forward. The team comes first.

“We have the semi-finals ahead of us, we have to keep fighting and give everything to get to the finals. We are happy to play in Doula and I wish we could be here again,” he said,

He further thanked the over 40,000 Doula fans for the massive support they received as they got the semi-final ticket while requesting Yaounde fans to do the same when they play against Egypt on Wednesday.

Fai has played a pivotal role for the Indomitable Lions, but it was his general performance for the five-time Afcon champions that elevated his status in the public eye with fans taking to Twitter to praise.
