The Emir of llorin and chairman of Kwara State Traditional Council of Chiefs, Alhaji lbrahim Sulu-Gambari, has pledged to work with the new Onijagbo of ljagbo, Oba Sarafadeen Adeniyi Buhari, to foster peace across communities in the state.
He gave the pledge while receiving the new Onijagbo who paid him a thank you visit in his palace.
Oba Sarafadeen was accompanied on the visit with his council and other prominent indigenes of the community.
According to the emir, “we will work with you and do the needful to ensure the growth and development of communities in the state.

‘We are happy with the steps you have taken so far and have shown passion to develop your community.
“Through peaceful co-existence and mutual understanding of our cultural norms and values, we can achieve peace in our domains and the entire state”.
Speaking earlier, Oba Buhari said he was in the palace to thank the emir for his support.
