We won’t wait for FG’s educational policy – Emmanuel

The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has said the state will not wait for the educational policy from the federal government.

Emmanuel stated that rather, the state will develop its own “home grown” educational system.

Speaking yesterday in Uyo during the Education Summit/Exhibitions with the theme, “Human Capacity Development for Sustainable Transformation of Persons and Society” organised by the state Ministry of Education, Governor Emmanuel said population of the students in the state’s Public schools is increasing because of the free education programme for primary and secondary levels.
