After all the expectations, the ministers have eventually been inaugurated. The next thing is action. I charge the ministers to ensure that the euphoria following their appointments does not go with the wind, as they now have the task of living up to the responsibilities attached to their offices. It is not just about getting an appointment but what you do with that appointment. The time for talk is over, the time for action is now.

If news emerging from the arrested kidnap kingpin Wadume is anything to go by, then we need not search further why the problem of insecurity is itractible in Nigeria, we need not wonder why bandits, kidnappers and others are holding Nigeria to ransom and terrorizing innocent citizens. The scenario leaves me confused on where to run to. Long Live Nigeria.

Assaulting Ekeremadu a sign of national anger

The assault  on Senator Ike Ekeremadu was unfortunate, and more unfortunate that he was the victim of acumulated anger on the elite. Besides the IPOB connection I would have said it is a sign of worse things to happen to those who think it is their birthright to continue to dominate other citizens in the use of the nation’s wealth, but it was a mistake for IPOB to spearhead such a show of shame in a foreign land.

Stop deaths from generator fumes

There have been many instances of people dying from inhaling generator fumes, just like trying to scoop petrol from fallen tankers, but people continue to make this mistake. People should learn to keep generators away from living rooms in order not to inhale the fumes, which lead to death. The funny thing about some people is that even when they are being warned about certain dangers, they continue to do those things that cause them eventual death or injury.
