I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the recent philanthropic gesture made by Abdul Samad Rabiu’s BUA Group, the prominent business magnate, to the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria.

The donation of a N1 billion entrepreneurship centre at the university by the businessman is truly commendable. The initiative reflects a forward-thinking approach to addressing the critical need for practical skill development and fostering entrepreneurial spirit among students.

The newly inaugurated centre not only addresses the critical need for practical skill development but also aligns with the broader goal of creating sustainable enterprises for graduating students.

By providing state-of-the-art facilities, including artisan, handcraft, fabrication, robotics, drone laboratories and incubator spaces, BUA’s initiative fosters an environment conducive to creativity, collaboration, and experimentation.
