The new Chairperson of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) Abuja chapter, Mrs Ugwunebo Ijeoma Perpetua, has promised to embark on programmes that will enhance the image of society and maintain the dignity of female chartered accountants in the FCT.
The chairperson stated this in her acceptance speech after the inauguration of the new executive members at the Annual General Meeting held at Nanet Suites, Abuja, recently.
“SWAN’s vision is to create an enabling environment that will allow as many females to become chartered accountants while the mission is to maintain the dignity of female chartered accountants” she said.
Earlier, the outgoing chair of SWAN, Mrs Katchy Patience, thanked the members of the society for their immense support during her tenure and urged them to give same support to the new executives.
