The national leadership of the Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN) has vowed to support the President, Bola Tinubu and his administration to ensure that security challenges in the country are tackled.

The corps also said it would lend its supportive hands in the advancing national development for the country at large, adding that prosperity of the country is a collective effort.

Dickson Akoh, the National Commandant of the Corps, made these promises when he visited the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, in his office.

According to him, the corps will mobilise its vast structure across the 36 States of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory to complement the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He added, “We have witnessed the President’s tireless efforts in strengthening security and empowering young people.

“As SGF, your dedication to quality service has been remarkable, and in solidarity with your office, we are here to reaffirm our total support for this administration.”

The PCN boss also assured the federal government that the Corps will strictly operate within the framework of the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding.

Reacting, the SGF lauded the National Commandant and his team for aligning with the vision of the Tinubu administration, saying he would personally convey their message of solidarity and commitment to the President.
