Kaduna government gave them peanuts and later we are hearing of billions squandered on “security.” And someone wants us to believe there’s no bias going on in Kaduna? Governor Yakowa’s body language, including that of Sa’idu Adamu, his Commissioner of Information, is not doing anything to assure citizens otherwise. Adamu was even saying uncomplimentary things about the IDPs, calling them liars.

In the Weekly Trust story of last week, where one little boy was wishing he is dead as a result of the Kaduna government’s neglect, I’m almost moved to tears. That boy, along with many other orphans, including widows remain without assistance and are fading away even as I type this. Maybe the end-of-year spirit will move Governor Yakowa’s heart-strings and make him do something to help the kids. That is my prayer.
