What Nigerians hope for in 2018

2017 had been a trying year for Nigerians. Government had failed to deliver the dividends of democracy as promised, food prices rose, fuel price too. Virtually all other basic life entitlements provided by country were either grossly inadequate or non-existent to Nigerians. Though it takes little time wreck a mechanism, fixing it back takes twice as much. On that basis, it is my hope that 2018 will be a rosy year built on a secure and safe environment, robust and diversified economy, well laid infrastructure, job opportunities and youth empowerment to guarantee good life to all Nigerians

My hope for Nigeria is to experience great joy, success and happiness and brighter development because we’ve witnessed a very tough and unfortunate circumstances in the previous year which we don’t want to see repeated. We hope for much improvement as Nigeria is the only home we all have and no matter what we can’t abandon it.

By the grace of God, I hope the year 2018 will bring more hope, greater development, security and above all, usher in greater prosperity for all of us.  All I seek from my fellow Nigerians is their continued support and prayers for all our leaders in this nation. Pray for them to be guided and that they shall have divine wisdom, direction, strength and health to do the work that it has please the Almighty God. I believe every hardship, at the very end, has a relief. Nigeria in 2018 is going to change for the better.

Well I’m hoping the Nigeria I love, the Nigeria I grew up in will have a stable economy. I also hope our leaders will do more and talk less so that we can get somewhere at least. We have the capacity to become one of the greatest powers in the world but we’re being inhibited by certain people with sadistic ideologies so I hope that narrative changes.

I feel Nigeria’s economy will experience a boom because Nigerians have explored the hard times and discovered diverse means to be more productive. Nigerians have also moved great steps forward politically as to whom to elect as their leaders. We have been deceived many times by the so-called leaders and I think there’s hope that we’d make wise choices as the campaigns begin this year. Additionally, in sports, we qualified to play at the World Cup and I hope we get past the quarter final stage. So you see, there’s so much hope for Nigeria in 2018.

I hope for the best but a well-planned target for 2018 that will be well executed. Nigeria has great potential, potential to become something better and God willing we will make it to that peak of excellence.

Nigeria should be stable economically. We’ve ben hearing that we are out of recession but it doesn’t feel that way. A lot of things have actually pulled us down, but I believe with the special grace of God we will be right back up. Nothing lasts forever, not even a nation’s troubles.
