It’s a huge loss, not just for music industry, but for the world in general. I sincerely do not think there will be a second voice like Whitney’s ever again. She had such a remarkable gift which in my view is little wonder her hit track “I will always love you” is the best selling by a female artist in music history.

She was an amazing Singer and when she had to play a movie role, she was even more intriguing to watch.

As an artist/entertainer I am hugely influenced by her works. It’s a huge loss. Just when you think somebody is getting back on their A game, life finds a way to play a twist. That happened with Michael Jackson, its happened again with Whitney. I’m at a loss for words.

‘Saving all My Love for You’, ‘Exhale’, and ‘I Look to You’, are a few of my Favorite Whitney Houston songs off the very many inspiring and amazing sounds she blessed us with.

May her soul rest ever so peacefully.

I think for all of us or maybe some, who are entertainers it is a great loss. I personally can confidently say Whitney was an internal artiste whom most of us felt some kind of attachment to. One felt like one knew her becaue of her style, her poise and they way she rendered her music. Her songs were inspiring to many.

I was inspired by her from very early and was even named Whitney in my secondary school because I was always eager to perform her songs. She will definitely leave on and regardless what her mistakes were, no one can deny that she made a mark.

I cried when I watched R. Kelly’s rendition of her song, ‘I look to you’. I pray for her soul to rest in peace. Amen.

Whitney was a very successful artiste and ha a fantastic career. I think that what she needs now is the sober side of us. Something to learn about her life is that no matter how successful we are we also need to focus.

We all have our high and low moments but what is important and in those low moments we should not let ourselves die there.

I particularly felt bad about the incidence as many people do when someone they admire passes away. There was still so much more Whitney could have done.

Fortunately for me, I grew up listening to Whitney Houston’s songs. She shared such grace and soul with her music. Even till date I find it easiest to express myself on stage when I sing her songs.

Undeniably, no one can deliver her songs with the same grace and power as she did. Shje will forever stay in my heart. I will always be that little girl who stayed glued to the TV set each time her song, ‘I will always love you’ was aired. I will always love you, Whitney.
