The crowd went wild at Davido’s N30 billion concert when the former musical group, Mo’Hits, united on stage. It was the least of what fans expected, but Davido had said earlier he was going to offer a very ‘mad and loud’ surprise at the event.
Mo’Hits crew has been a favourite of many Nigerian music lovers and their breakup had left a sour taste in the mouths of many. Usually, a blend of Don Jazzy’s voice, D’Banj and Wande Coal was enough to make their songs a thrilling experience.
The concert which held on Wednesday and trended on twitter has arguably become December’s most talked about entertainment event. Davido said it took him two months to get the former crew together.
It is however not confirmed whether their performance on stage together may lead to more of such outings together or perhaps, re-unite them for good.
Members of the defunct Mo’Hits crew, Don Jazzy, D’Banj, Wande Coal, Ikechukwu, Kay Switch had split in 2011.
Founded in 2004, Mo’Hits Records, popularly called Mo’Hits, was a Nigeria-based music record label owned by D’banj and Don Jazzy. It signed D’banj as its first recording artist.
