Where Buhari got it wrong!

President Muhammadu Buhari is one of the greatest Nigerian in recent time, loved and respected globally because of his integrity and patriotism incarnate.
The expectation of Nigerians is very high on this administration. If not because of the economic nightmare Nigeria is facing, Buhari is up to the task to move Nigeria to the greatness. Apart from financial problems our great nation is facing as the results of bad governance in the last few years coincided with the collapsed of petroleum prices. Since the oil sector accounts for approximately 95 percent of Nigeria’s export earnings, 25 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and over 80 per cent of federal government revenue.
The office of the SGF and Chief of Staff to the President are like the heart and spinal cord of the country’s administration. Mr. President appointed people from the private sectors background for the both sensitive positions. Most of the bureaucrats from the private sectors are looking at governance or everything from the business perspective or how to maximize profit at all cost. And in most cases they are anti-poor because they expect to benefit nothing from a poor man. Finally, the CBN Governor ideally should have been shown his way out since. All the financial misappropriation during the tenure of President Jonathan committed upon the CBN Governor’s endorsement. Do this people deserve to work under President Buhari?
PMB should have appointed people with public service background, more qualified, experienced and above all, proven integrity to help Mr. President to deliver public goods to the Nigerian masses.
