I write to draw the attention of the Hon. Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk, to the awful and heartless development brought about by some abominable individuals selling the not-for-sale freebies and goodies meant for our school children in some markets across the country.  

However, in whatever case, such intruders to the school’s food stores have to be uncovered and rewarded based on their daily silly acts. This rascality must be halted. How on earth could this happen? Where are the intelligence units? Are they not actively capable of detecting the instigators?  

Mahatma Gandhi once stated: “Be the change you want to see.” But because of some inhumane actions by some of us, we are not ready to be the change we want to see.  

In a nutshell, I implore the management that is responsible for the affairs of the school feeding programs to make a thorough investigation by collaborating with security personnel and apprehend whoever is found guilty of such nation sabotage.
