The secretary of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Kamal Adamu Shuaibu, has said the council’s boss deserves another term following his emergence as the best performing local government chairman in Nigeria.

Shuaibu stated this at a reception organized for the chairman by the APC Women Caucus Forum in the council led by Hajiya Amina Inuwa Gani, after he was honoured by Segnip Promotion Limited as the best local government chairman in Nigeria.

“If out of 774 local government chairmen in Nigeria, Abaji council chairman emerges as the overall best performed chairman, I think he deserves to be re-elected for a second term in 2019,” he said.

Speaking, the council chairman, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, said since the APC Women Caucus Forum has decided to organise a reception for him, it was a clear indication that they want APC to retain the council seat in 2019 election.

He called on eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs), including those that have misplaced theirs before the closing date by INEC.

On her part, chairman of the APC Women Caucus Forum, Hajiya Amina Inuwa Gani, said the award has made the women forum to also endorse the chairman for another term in office.
