The National Coordinator, ‘I believe in President Muhammadu Buhari 2019’, Comrade Frank Ramsey Ezike, has said that come, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will not win in any of the five South-East states of Nigeria.
He has also vowed to block him electorally by checkmating any political maneuverings that the PDP chieftain in the five south-eastern states, may elicit during the presidential poll.
According to him, his party’s presidential candidate and incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari will sweep the votes of the south-east states, given the willingness of the region’s electorate to identify with a tested and disciplined political leadership figure.
“President Muhammadu Buhari, will offer long-awaited democratic aspirations within the next four years of purposeful development administration and hand over of political power, when he clinches the presidential victory come February 16th 2019.
“I believe in President Muhammadu Buhari 2019, which is a nationwide youth-based in outlook, content and form, is ably being powered by Savers Empowerment Ambassadors Initiative (SEAI), with the sole aim of galvanizing political and electoral support from President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term bid to ensure continuity in good governance.
“We spread in the 774 Local Government Areas of the country, and has put strategies in place to checkmate any act of rigging in the south-east by the PDP as far as the February 16th 2019 Presidential Polls and allied elections are concerned,” Ezike said.
He said the purported electoral support given to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, by the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, holds no water as the people of the south-east, are not ready to gamble with their votes at a time they are supposed to carefully define their political interests by way of secured electoral investments for the future.
