The notion that Oritsejafor gave the plane to a company to manage and therefore Mr Oritsejafor should not be held responsible for what the borrower does with it is disingenuous and an attempt to remove reliability from where it rightly belongs. Haba, Mr Okupe! We the residents of Borno,Yobe and Kano, and Adamawa states are used to our houses being demolished whenever a Boko Haram suspect is believed to be a tenant in them.
Also in the South East houses are brought down when ever kidnappers are believed to be using them as hideouts, with or without the knowledge of the landlords. I wonder why the Presidency, or whoever, is now trying to change this unwritten law. Let the federal government seize Oritsejafor’s plane and make it a national asset. This should be part of the punishment and also to deter such illegal undertakings in the future.
