The Chief Executive Officer of Nedcomoaks Ltd, Ken Okwonkwo has identified eco-friendly properties as the most suitable types for the topography of Lekki area of Lagos.
Okwonkwo stated this while addressing journalists at the commissioning of housing units at Victoria Crest 1 properties in Lagos.
The property developer who said buildings at Victoria Crest 1 are specifically built to be eco-friendly said that it is the
responsibility of every developer to put into consideration the proximity of Lekki to the Atlantic Ocean and must be ready to put in place, properties that fit into the environment.
“Why developing Victoria Crest 1, I must confess to you that it took us about seven months to develop it. And why we did take our time is because we are much concerned about putting in place properties that fit into the environment we operate from. This place is close to the Atlantic Ocean and it only make sense that we build for our people an eco-friendly houses.
The property developer, however, called on government at all levels to assist developers in the areas of making affordable lands available so as to reduce unit cost on houses as well as provision of basic infrastructures that will engender growth and development on new developed towns and sites.
