A-Z Oil, a subsidiary of Chicason Group which specialises in the production of genuine lubricants, has reintroduced its products to the Nigerian market.
Briefing newsmen in Lagos, A-Z chairman, Dr Alexander Chika Okafor, said the products have been upgraded to meet the latest API standards and will cater for the needs of vehicles and machines over the years.
He also acknowledged the absence of the oil company in the Nigerian market but affirmed it has returned with lots of changes.
“Today we are relaunching full and semi synthetic products; we have upgraded some of our products to meet the latest API standards,” he said.
He further stated that non-commercial vehicle users can use the lubricant for a whole year without replacement but must be accompanied with the original oil filter.
“Most of the oil filters in the market cannot go more than 3,000km but if you use the original oil filter, it can last up to 15,000km,” he said.
The chairman said Lagos residents can drive their vehicles for two years without replacing the oil. Also, truck users can go up to four trips without replacing the oil.
The general managing director, Chuks Abike, said the company is repositioning itself to meet whatever is the contemporary issue around the lubricant market as the lubricant is compatible for engines, gears and parts that will require oil.
