A Nollywood producer and director, Agbo Kelly, has disclosed that he shot his new film titled ‘Hidden’ in order to celebrate journalism heroes.

Kelly while speaking with Daily Trust in Jos said the film was a story based on Amina (Sogie Efe Guobadia), an investigative journalist, who refuses to be compromised by corrupt influences.

He explained that Amina remains steadfast along the ideals of freedom of speech and justice advocacy and “her resolve and strong will to survive was tested as she finds herself trapped inside a well in a dreaded forest; with a broken leg and a cracked rib to contend with.”

The producer cum director said the film was shot for over three months in Plateau State and produced in collaboration with Hamzar productions and Cre8tive studios.

It starred Sogie Efe Guobadia as Amina, Fatimah Bakare-Dickson as Amina’s mother, Edwin Hayes as Amina’s father, and Degri, Grace and Wapi as politicians, among others.

He said the film will be premiered soon.
