Ogun West stands at a defining moment in its political journey. What the Senatorial District needs at the National Assembly is not just another politician, but a listening leader, a servant leader and an intelligent representative who understands both the heartbeat of the people and the complexity of governance. Musefiu Lamidi Olatunji clearly embodies this rare combination.

Hon. Muse began his political journey at the grassroots as a councillor, rising to become Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, one of the most strategic and industrially vibrant local governments in Nigeria. His tenure was marked by impactful governance across all 16 wards, with visible development and people-oriented policies.
He further served as a member of the Elders’ Council, bringing maturity and advisory depth to governance. As Special Assistant on Youth Affairs (Ogun West), he effectively represented and amplified the voice of young people across the district. His appointment as Special Adviser on Political Affairs placed him within the executive arm of Ogun State, where he contributed significantly to policy direction and political coordination, always advocating for the betterment of his people.
His transition into the legislative arm as a Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly further solidified his competence. In his first term, he served as Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption, one of the most critical committees where he upheld transparency, accountability, and integrity among public officials and contractors alike.
Currently in his second term, he serves as Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, a position that underscores his deep understanding of fiscal responsibility, budgeting, and resource allocation.
At the National Assembly, where laws are shaped, budgets defended and development negotiated, Ogun West needs a leader with proven capacity Not noise. Hon. Muse has demonstrated the intelligence, experience, and strategic depth required to articulate our needs, build alliances, and attract meaningful development.
