Why subsidy must go
I protested, I wrote articles in 2001 and 2002 against it. My articles were published everywhere on the Internet and in most newspapers, but today I have been proven wrong by President Obasanjo’s foresight and steadiness on the issue. So today, I think that President Goodluck Jonathan is right that this subsidy must go. Nigeria has to deregulate the oil and gas industry to set the stage for real growth in the industry which will propel the growth of all sectors of Nigeria’s industry since the oil and gas industry is the leading sector of Nigeria’s industrial growth.
