MMI global logistics limited has said the decision to open an office in Ilọrin, the Kwara State capital, was to expand its services in line with its quest to become one of the leaders in the country.

Mallam AbdulKadir Moshood, its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), stated this in Ilọrin, Kwara capital, on Thursday, during the official announcement of the establishment of the facility.

Headquartered in Lagos, the freight and haulage company began its operation in 2022.

According to him, MMI global logistics will provide seamless logistics services including clearing, import and export cargo services, as well as haulage operation for Ilọrin and environs.

Asked what customers have to gain and how the development will change logistics services in Ilọrin, the CEO said “With our pool of expertise in air, ocean and road shipments, customers here will benefit from our core expertise in providing clearing and logistics transport solutions to leading companies and multinationals in Nigeria.

He noted that its haulage services are designed to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods, with all trucks properly insured and certified by terminal safety officers.

“We equally ensure our drivers undergo regular training on road safety and terminal operation, and containers are lifted immediately on arrival to minimize demurrage costs.”

The Kwara-born entrepreneur and export monitoring and evaluation specialist added that they are dedicated to delivering timely and cost-effective solutions for clients, minimizing customs, terminal, and shipping charges.
