Mayowa Okegbenle, CEO of PressOne Africa, has stressed the importance of empowering African entrepreneurs with the right tools and technologies.
Speaking at the Lagos Startup week 2024, he said: “Empowering African entrepreneurs with the right tools and technologies is crucial for economic growth. At PressOne Africa, we provide innovative solutions that bridge the gap between traditional systems and modern, cloud-based technologies.
“For us, this is not business as usual. We have put a lot of resources into our charge to guide emerging industry leaders through successful ventures and are glad to have been able to showcase these solutions to them at Startup Week 2024.”
During the event, Okegbenle disclosed that the organisation successfully launched the “Developer Program”, an innovative platform featuring advanced APIs and Software Development Kits (SDKs).
“The Developer Program is designed to empower developers with the tools, resources and support needed to create innovative voice communication solutions that will optimise operations and ultimately drive business growth.
“This initiative further reflects PressOne Africa’s commitment to fostering innovation and progress in today’s rapidly evolving tech ecosystem.
“In addition to the Developer Program, PressOne Africa’s team conducted live demonstrations of its dynamic cloud-based communications solution systems, showcasing its functionality and benefits for modern businesses,” he said.
He also led a series of panel discussions throughout the event. These conversations delved into the future of technology and entrepreneurship in Africa with expert perspectives and valuable insights from industry leaders.
