The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mr. Sani Musa Daura as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Protocol Matters.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, described Daura as a seasoned civil servant with over 30 years of experience in the FCTA Protocol Department.

Sani Musa Daura, who was appointed Director of FCT Protocol in 2019, is scheduled to retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026. 

According to the statement, his new appointment will take effect immediately upon his retirement.
