Wike promotes 1,018 FCDA staff

The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has approved the promotion of staff of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) on Grade Levels 07 to 15 for 2022 and 2023.

A total of 1,018 senior and junior staff who were successful in the promotion exercise in April, 2024, were promoted.

Similarly, the minister approved the immediate review of the Conditions of Service and Operations Manual of the FCDA.

FCDA’s Executive Secretary, Mr Shehu Hadi Ahmad, who disclosed this, said the approval was conveyed by the Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, Mr Emeka Ezeh.

He said, “Accordingly, the authority is in the process of setting up the necessary machinery towards the realisation of the objectives for the review. The management and staff of FCDA express their profound gratitude and appreciation to the minister for the approvals, as this will go a long way to boost the morale of staff and improve their productivity, which is in line with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.”
