A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the FCT, Hon Adamu Musa Abaji, has said the ongoing infrastructural development under the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, is beginning to transform the territory and yielding other positive results.
Abaji, while speaking with newsmen at his Jiwa hometown of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) on Thursday, said both residents and natives of Abuja, have started feeling the impact of the minister’s ongoing developmental strides.
He identified some of the ongoing projects, such as the Abuja light rail, road/bridges construction, as well as award of construction of seven kilometres roads at satellite towns of the six area councils.
He said Wike has been able to ensure that all abandoned projects, including the area councils’ projects by former FCT administrations, are being completed, which he said will go a long way in bringing relief to residents of the FCT.

“The truth is that we must commend President Bola Tinubu for appointing Wike as FCT minister, despite being from the opposition. He has been able to transform the capital city and the Satellite towns within the short time he assumed office,” he said.
According to him, the perennial vehicle traffic within the city centre has reduced with the ongoing construction of bridges.
The APC chieftain, however, advised Wike to also reach out to the stakeholders in the FCT, saying the minister cannot handle issues that affect the people of the FCT alone, but through synergizing with the stakeholders.
