Wikki Tourists striker, Sanni Ibrahim Enesi is yet to start scoring goals for his new club but he is proving to be a multi-talented youngster who scores goals effortlessly and can produce breath-taking pencil portraits with ease.
Although he didn’t study fine and applied arts in any institution of learning, the Kogi State born footballer has continued to churn out beautiful works of arts that are catching the attention of many Nigerians.
In a chat with Daily Trust, the former Kogi United and Gombe United player said drawing comes to him naturally as he declared that he is yet to receive any formal training.
The Federal University of Technology, FUTA, Minna graduate said “I am a science student, a certified civil engineer.
“I didn’t go to school to study how to make pencil portraits. It comes to me naturally. I only studied how to draw in my primary school days and you know that whatever you learnt at such a young age stays with you permanently.
“I have the passion to recreate things using my pen. So despite my busy schedule, I still find time to draw. I can say it is God given talent,” he explained.
Ibrahim who said he has made portraits of high profile Nigerians like the Minister of youth and sports, Sunday Dare, notable politicians and many celebrities, however, regretted that after several attempts, he is yet to present Governor Yahaya Bello’s portraits to him.
“I have presented portraits to many people who are close to my governor. Unfortunately, they have not made the way for me to meet him but I am not giving up.
“I am a very patient man so I believe that at the right time, I will meet and present his portraits to him and that will be my most memorable moment. It has always been my desire to meet His Excellency because I am proud of him.
“Apart from being my governor, I like his doggedness and charisma. He is also the youngest governor in Nigeria and I think Africa as a whole. I am proud of him,” he said.
