Smith was attached to star in the film with Noomi Rapace co-starring. But scheduling couldn’t be worked out with Smith also headlining Warner Bros’ grifter tale “Focus,” set for release on Feb. 27.
Onah had had hoped to start shooting ‘Brilliance’ in August, working with a script by David Koepp.
