Winhomes Global Services Limited has denied reports circulating in some quarters that its estate has been taken over by certain subscribers.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the company stated that Winhomes Estate remains the property of Winhomes Global Services Limited and has not been transferred to any individual or group.

According to the statement, the company said a group of individuals recently gained access to the estate, a development it described as unauthorised.

The company also stated that it remains the lawful owner and manager of the estate, adding that it holds a valid Governor’s Consent issued by the Lagos State Government.

Winhomes further clarified that subscribers made payments directly to Winhomes Global Services Limited and not to any association or group.

On compensation issues linked to the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Road Project, the company said any compensation payable by the government would be made to Winhomes Global Services Limited as the title holder. It added that any compensation due to affected subscribers would be handled in line with applicable laws and agreements.

The company disclosed that it has initiated legal action in relation to recent developments concerning the estate.

Winhomes also appealed to subscribers to remain calm and law-abiding, assuring them that the issues would be resolved through legal and appropriate channels.

The company said it remains committed to its subscribers and to resolving the matter in accordance with the law.
