Nigerian Afrobeat artist Wiza is gearing up for the release of his debut extended play (EP), Shuttle, scheduled to drop on June 15, 2026.

The four-track project marks a significant milestone in the singer’s musical journey as he seeks to establish himself on the Afrobeat scene.

Born James Chijioke Ijeoma, Wiza is a Nigerian artist based in Cape Verde. The singer said a defining moment in his career came after meeting award-winning Afrobeats star Davido and his team during a concert in Cape Verde.

According to Wiza, the encouragement and support he received from Davido’s crew had a profound impact on his confidence and determination.

He recalled being invited on stage during the concert, describing the experience as one of the most inspiring moments of his life.

“The love they showed me was the biggest motivation I’ve ever felt,” Wiza said, noting that the encounter strengthened his belief in his musical aspirations and reinforced his commitment to pursuing a career in the industry.
