Wizkid, Burna, Rema top list on Spotify weekly charts

Superstar music artistes, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Rema have topped Nigeria’s Spotify charts for this week.

Burna Boy’s Question (feat. Don Jazzy)  which was released in August 2021, is the biggest winner on Top Songs, ranking at #118.

Burna Boy had won Best World Music Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards for his album, Twice as Tall, and was also nominated for Grammys Best Global Music Performance for his “Do Yourself” in 2022.

Wizkid who was also nominated in the 64th Grammy Awards earlier this for both “Made in Lagos” and “Essence” has the Made in Lagos Deluxe Edition on the Top Albums chart as the longest, with a total of 10 weeks.

Rema, whose debut Rave & Roses, was the most-streamed album by a Nigerian artiste in the first 24 hours with 47.25 million streams, has recorded another feat with his latest song, Calm Down, having the most spots on the Top Songs at #5.

On the Top Artists chart this week, melvitto is the biggest winner at #99. Boy Spyce claims the highest new entry at #41, moving up by 69 positions and Rema maintained his slot as the longest-reigning artist on the Top Artists chart at 10 weeks straight.

Omo Ope (feat. Olamide) by Asake remains on the Top Songs for an impressive 10 weeks. Rema’s Calm Down has the most spots on Top Songs at #5. Question (feat. Don Jazzy) by Burna Boy and Don Jazzy is the biggest winner, ranking at #118, while Dreams by Boy Spyce claims the highest new entry at #57.

Top Albums
Noughty By Nature by Digga D ranks as the highest new entry on Top Albums at #65. Drake continues to claim the most spots on Nigerian charts with Certified Lover Boy at #14. Fleur froide -Second etat: la cristallisation by Tayc is the biggest winner, moving up by 97 spots to #88, while WizKid’s Made in Lagos Deluxe Edition has been on the Top Albums chart the longest, with a total of 10 weeks.
