Nigerian Singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, stood out at the 2021 edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

He was nominated in four different categories.
Star Boy won the ‘Best African Collaboration’, ‘Artiste of the Year’, and ‘Song of the Year’ categories.
This is coming one week after the Grammy Award winner won the Best African Act Award at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA).
