A 33-year-old woman accused of stabbing a housewife with a sharp object following a disagreement between them has been docked before a magistrate court in Osogbo, Osun State.

The accused person, Dayo Owolabi, was said to have consumed large content of alcohol on Sunday before attacking Latifa Kojo.

The incident reportedly occurred at Arikalamu area of Osogbo, capital of Osun State, when an argument between the two women degenerated into fisticuffs which eventually resulted to the stabbing.

The matter was reported at the Dugbe Divisional Police Headquarters and Owolabi was arrested and arraigned before the court yesterday.

The accused person pleaded not guilty of the offence levelled against her and her counsel Daud Adegbola urged the court to grant her bail.

The judge, Magistrate R.A Olayemi, granted the accused person bail of N10,000 and adjourned the case to February 4, 2019.
