A 32-year-old woman, Rose Stephen, was on Wednesday arraigned before a Kaduna magistrates’ court for biting off a man’s finger during a fight.

The prosecutor, Insp Chidi Leo, told the court that the accused had an argument with the complainant, Francis Timothy, at the Barnawa area of Kaduna metropolis and that she assaulted him by biting off one of his right hand fingers in the process.

The Magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N150, 000 with a surety in like sum and adjourned to September 30. (NAN)
