The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned a woman, Ojo Aderonke (26), in a magistrates’ court sitting in Ado-Ekiti over theft of N300,000..

The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the defendant on December 13, 2025, in the Okeosun area in Ado-Ekiti stole N300,000 and conducted herself in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace contrary to Sections 302, 181(1)(d) of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State of Nigeria 2021.

Counsel to the defendant, Barrister Olusoji Oladele, urged the court to admit his client to bail.

The Magistrate, Mr. Abayomi Adeosun, granted bail of N50,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case to February 6, 2026.
