The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned a woman, Babatunde Kemi (50), in a magistrates’ court sitting in Ado-Ekiti over alleged fraud and obtaining money by pretense.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told court that the suspect in the year 2019 in Ado-Ekiti, did fraudulently obtain the sum of N600,000k under false pretense from one Ajayi Olayemi.

Counsel to the defendant, Barrister A. O. Adelusi, urged the court to admit his client to bail, saying she would not jump bail and would provide credible surety.
The Magistrate, Mr. A. O. Owoleso, granted bail in the sum of N100,00 with two sureties and adjourned the case to August 6, for hearing.
