Samiah Oyekan-Ahmed is a medical doctor-turned-entrepreneur. She started out as an entrepreneur in medical school selling gift items from her hostel locker at 19.

Samiah is the founder of Fusion Lifestyle Limited, organisers of The Fusion Lifestyle Family fairs, The Fusion Connect series and owners of The Fusion Lifestyle Store.

She is also the founder of The Gift Source and co-founder of Fruit Garden.

A passionate entrepreneur, Samiah has had many speaking engagements to share her experience as portfolio entrepreneur and she is enthusiastic about painting a picture of entrepreneurship to aspiring business owners.

“All my businesses stem from love of certain things and that’s where I get my passion from – to run them as I do. Fusion lifestyle was birthed from my love of putting things together (and the fact that Abuja didn’t have anything of the sort when I moved here). 

“The Gift Source was from my love of finding quirky and unique items and the gap in the market for great quality, affordable gifts. Fruit Garden was from my love for fruits and convenience and so on. I am a portfolio entrepreneur because I love to multi-task and I thrive on pressure of trying to make several things work at once,”

The mother of two is a talented entrepreneur. Apart from creating her own brand she has encouraged many budding entrepreneurs in the FCT and Nigeria, as a whole, to do so.
