A nail artist, Ayanna Wiliams has been making waves in the internet with a crown title of the World’s Longest Fingernails.

The Guinness World Records 2018 Edition gave her the title for the World’s Longest Fingernails because her nails measured more than 18 feet long.

Ayanna said she was inspired by a friend to grow such long nails on each hand revealing that she has been growing them for more than 23 years now and intends to keep growing them.

To manage such long nails, Ayanna uses anti-bacterial soap and a nail brush to clean them daily which to help them grow.  She also applies hardener and a thin layer of acrylic regularly.

Ayanna on her reason for applying for the record said, “To let my children know that anything they want to accomplish can be done. It takes courage, discipline and patience but it can be accomplished,”

With such long nails, am sure you will wonder how she manages her daily chores?

Well, Ayanna revealed that the most challenging thing about keeping extremely long fingernails is pulling up her trousers and painting the nails which she says take up to one week to paint.
