A woman was left horrified after waking up to find an enormous 16ft long python wrapping itself around her bedroom.
The 30kg snake had been living in Trina Hibberd’s roof for around four years.
But after years stuck in the roof, the reptile decided to pop down for a roam around the Australian’s home.
Trina, from Queensland, took pictures of her creepy companion as it made its way across a bedroom wall, wrapping itself around a picture frame and hat stand.
Nicknamed ‘Monty’, Trina filmed the python as it explored its new surroundings.
Some people were so amazed at the footage, they thought it was a joke – only for Trina to confirm that it was in fact VERY real
The incredibly long python draped its body across the bottom of Trina’s bed.
After taking a few snaps and a video of her new housemate, Trina eventually had to call for some help in removing the massive reptile from her home.
Thankfully, local snake removal experts were on hand to offer some help in releasing the python back into the wild.
Snake catcher Dave Goodwin told Daily Mail Australia: “She was understandably panicky when she called.
“He wasn’t a little fella, and he was strutting his stuff in the bedroom.
“We told her to shut the bedroom door and keep it closed until we get there.”
