The women group said in a statement signed by its national president Hajiya Maryam Babangida that its members took the decision at a meeting held in Abuja yesterday.
The statement said they had carefully looked at the performance of President Jonathan in the past four years and came to the conclusion that he should be given another opportunity to continue and finish what he has started.
“Having seen the development and inclusion of women in this administration, the group has unanimously come to the conclusion, during its general meeting of March 25, 2015 held in Abuja, to endorse the candidacy of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his re-election bid.
“All our members nationwide have agreed to vote for President Jonathan to allow him continue with the good works he has started. We are appreciative of his programmes, especially the transformation agenda. We call on all our members to come out and vote for him on Saturday,” the group said.
