A pastor with Revival House of Glory International Church (RHOGIC), Pastor Nelly Ayua, has called on women in the country not to allow bad economy to box them into a corner.
According to her, women should allow their real self to come out and begin to shine.
Pastor Ayua, during the Heart Ablaze Conference with the Theme: Made For More, Made For Glory, to celebrate this year’s Mothers Day said, “This is women conference and typically for women, we get hooked up in our boxes, the box of being a wife and the box of being a mother.
“You know often times because of the society, the economy and the government, women tend to kind of cower, instead of coming out and being the authentic self that they are.
“This made for more conference is an avenue for the real us to come out and begin to shine, I always say to people don’t let the world define your existence, let God do it because if you see yourself through the eyes and the lens of God you will see your self achieving much more”.
Also, Pastor Ngozi Udeh, said the family comes first before the society.
She said, “God made family before society, so if the family is healthy, society will be healthy.
“Made for More conference gives us the opportunity to know the role of women in society because when a child is good, it belongs to the father but when the child is bad, it belongs to the mother, so, every good mother must make sure that every child that passes through them must be good.”
