- She works at the National Assembly as a Special Assistant on Gender to the President of the Senate.
- She is an advocate for youth and women inclusion in politics.
- She co-founded the online women’s magazine Jaruma; she was its founding editor in chief.
- In 2016 and 2017 she was on the list of Arewa’s 100, a ranking of influential northern Nigerians.
- She was a member of the National Convention Committee of the APC and the Presidential Convention Committee in 2018.
- She hosted “Adikon Zamani”, a BBC Hausa programme that radically challenged long held harmful beliefs and practices.
