Works minister’s neglect of northern roads

The works minister seems to be more concerned about Lagos- Ibadan Express way. He inspects that road more than other road projects in the country. Political office holders, citizens and others have drawn his attention to the poor handling of Zaria to Pambegua road by the contractors, yet he has never thought it wise to visit this road. The Zaria-Funtua federal highway is another terrible spot. This road is crucial to the economic development of several states linked to it.

The minister’s attention was drawn to this via a series of letters but he failed to fix this. He hardly visits roads in other parts of the country. He is a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria not a minister of the South West please.
