The Management of Zenith Bank Plc has presented a gift of N5 million each to the three winners of just-concluded 2025 Teen Eagle competition held in London of the United Kingdom.

Daily Trust reports that three students from Yobe State, Nigeria; Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu; Rukayya Muhammad Fema and Hadiza Kashim Kalli have won top honors at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London.

The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, Dame Adaora Umeoji, presented the gift behalf of the Management.

Umeoji, who was represented by Mr. Abubakar Goronyo, the bank’s General Manager North, said the token was meant to encourage the winners to redouble their efforts.

“We are proud of the recent achievements recorded by this great institution, particularly when some of you went as far as the UK and excelled in a highly competitive debate. To God be the glory, the same products of this school have continued to make us proud.

“Nafisa and Hadiza, your success in the just-concluded 2025 Teen Eagle competition is not only a success for this institution and Nigeria, but also a global success.

“It is on this note that our GMD, who also doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, mandated us to be here today in conjunction with ACF to felicitate with you. We are truly proud and happy to be associated with NTIC.

“It is in this light that, under the leadership of our GMD, we are here to present a wonderful gift — N5 million each — to the three winners” He said.

Speaking, Mr Shahbaz Malik, Principal, NTIC Yobe Branch, appreciate the effort of Zenith Bank for supporting the students who participated and won at the Teen Eagle competition.

“The secret of our success as an institution lies in our commitment to humanity and the education of our students. We believe what is taught with love lasts forever.

“At our schools, we apply rigorous exam preparation methodologies, and as a result, our students excel both in exams and in international competitions.” He said.

Responding, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Overall Best in English Language Skills, who speak on behalf of the winners, appreciated the bank for the honour.
