The World Trade Centre, one of Nigeria’s biggest, is set to unveil new amenities as part of efforts to revolutionise the property sector.

The Vice President of the World Trade Centre, Mr Ahmed Karim Adelaja, made the disclosure over the weekend at its end-of-year gathering.

He noted that the efforts made in 2024 resonate with the centre’s resilience in supporting the government to promote real estate growth and boost trade.

Speaking on the plans for 2025, he said, “The centre will unveil the exclusive WTC clubhouse, a private hub to enhance recreation, culture and community wellbeing of residents.

“Also, in April we will amplify Nigeria’s presence by leading a business delegation to the Global Business Forum in Marseille, France, to strengthen ties and unlock opportunities.

“Subsequently, by Q3, WTC will set a new standard for security in Nigeria through the integration of advanced technology with robust infrastructure to become the nations’ most secure building just as we intend to initiate the Trade Accelerator Programme at the WTC Abuja Trade Hub, transitioning local businesses into export-ready enterprises,” he said.

In his message, the minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, noted that the major aim of the ministry’s partnership with the World Trade Centre is to fast-track the provision of infrastructure like export hubs that will boost the country’s efforts in becoming an export economy.
