The Women’s Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA) has engaged key stakeholders yesterday in Kaduna State to ensure effective implementation of the Gender Equal Opportunities (GEO) and Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP) laws in Kaduna and Plateau states.

The State Project Officer, Barrister Bukola Ajao, said the new project seeks to gain the approval and adoption of the VAPP Law and the GEO Law, in prosecuting GBV cases so as to bring justice to victims otherwise known as survivors and also punish perpetrators.
