Fifteen entries out of 91 submissions have been shortlisted for the Write Art contest which began on January 25. Each writer paired with an artist and wrote a 300-word or less flash fiction piece inspired by the latter’s work.
The fifteen entries selected explore – in prose matched to revealing art – different themes that touch on loss, identity, love, abuse, and motherhood among other subjects.
On March 19, the winning entry to clinch the prize money of N200, 000 will be announced.
