A total of 1,591 students have been admitted into various departments at the Federal University Wukari, Taraba State, for the 2016/2017 academic session. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abubakar Musa Kundiri, made the announcement during the 6th matriculation ceremony on Saturday. He asked students to be hard working in line with the university’s standard of achieving academic excellence and said the management will not condone indecency of any form as perpetrators of deviant behaviors would be appropriately disciplined.
He said group personal insurance policy will be introduced to cover students’ natural and accidental cases while students’ benevolent fund that will provide relief on certain financial challenges of less privileged students will also be introduced.
